This reading & discussion course will create a space for participants to reflect on and debate critical perspectives in the development of discourses on gender and feminism across the world. The readings explore the variety of shapes women\u2019s movements have taken; how race, class, gender and sexuality interact with one another; and the implications of notions of \u2018development\u2019 on women’s movements.
This 8-week course is offered in collaboration with the Coalition for Sexual and Bodily Rights in Muslim Societies (CSBR). It’s a space for those keen to bridge philosophical, academic and personal perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
